Kelly Weller

  1. Welcome Kelly, please tell us about yourself.

Hi, I’m Kelly Weller.

I’m passionate about delivering meaningful value by helping customers solve real challenges through informed, responsive support. I was drawn to a career in sales because it allows me to combine relationship-building, problem-solving, and continuous personal growth — all things that inspire and motivate me.

I believe long-term success comes from showing up as your best self every day. For me, that means staying curious, learning continuously, and genuinely caring about the people I work with.

I joined BDPros to expand my network and connect with like-minded professionals across the industry. I’m excited to learn, grow, and contribute to a community that shares my values.

Above all, I’m a proud mom of two daughters. My family drives everything I do, and I strive every day to model passion, strong work ethic, and a genuine love for life.

2. Where do you work, and what is your role? When and how did you get started there?

“I am Senior Sales Executive for Advanced Business Communications. We are a manufacturers’ representative firm supporting Corning, Eaton, and Airspan in the NY Metro market, collaborating closely with end users, contractors, consultants, and integrators. I’ve been with ABC for just over a year, joining the team after many years of knowing Ed O’Brien and Ken DePalo during my time at Corning Wireless.”

3. What are some factors that contribute to your success?

“I believe much of my success comes from my strong relationship-building skills and customer-first mindset. I take pride in my ability to adapt to different industries from wireless to fiber optics, and I’m committed to continuous learning to stay current with evolving industry trends.”

4. What advice would you give to those starting their careers in Business Development?

5. Please share the range and type of projects you’re involved in.

“I’ve worked on a wide range of projects of varying sizes, from large-scale wireless deployments in airports and mid-sized arenas to enterprise environments. More recently, in the fiber, cable, and power sectors, I’ve been involved in projects across hospitality, healthcare, and transportation verticals.”
