We are excited to welcome you to our bi-monthly IBDP “Lunch with a Business Development Leader”. This series connects motivated and success-driven BD professionals, at all levels with accomplished Business Development leaders. The small intimate group will allow the participants to connect and grow through storytelling and a Q&A session in an inclusive and relaxing atmosphere over lunch.
Guest Speaker: Tracy J. Passarella
Tracy J. is a New York city-based licensed superintendent turned Senior Project Manager. With 10+ years of experience in the construction industry, she currently works for Gilbane Building Company and is an active member of Gilbane’s PRIDE Employee Resource Group.
Tracy serves on the Board of Directors for Build Out Alliance. Build Out Alliance supports andadvocates for the LGBTQ+ community within the design and build industry. She also serves asco-chair for the Special Events of Build Out Alliance which promotes community engagement by hosting social events and getting involved with volunteer opportunities.
Her goal in her work with Gilbane’s PRIDE ERG and Build Out Alliance is to help business leadership understand the advantage of creating an environment where employees feel safe and respected in the workplace.
Recognized as one of Crains NY Business- Notable LGBTQIA + Leaders, Tracy J. has the pleasure of speaking on the importance of LGBTQ+ inclusion in the construction industry at various venues. Recently she has joined the LGBT CUNY Advisory Councill to mentor future industry leaders and is involved also with NYU Stern’s Real Estate Pride Roundtable.
Tracy J. is also a vice chair and active on the membership committee for the Gay Real Estate Group (G.R.E.G.) of New York. She won the Jack Osborn Award for her commitment and promotion of values and inclusivity of G.R.E.G.
